I literally cannot decide between these two to save my life, the one on the left is slightly longer and slightly cheaper which is great, plus if I’m brand-whoring I believe it’s a tad better quality. But I like the style of the one on the right better. I’ve sent these pictures to like five people and no one’s helping so PLEASE, save me from my misery!!!!

These shoes, the dress, and the cardigan are all pieces I’ve gotten recently. I originally got the dress from lulus.com when they had their Easter sale; I’d seen it a few days before and loved it, and then they dropped the price to $34, and then I got 20% off of THAT, so it was basically a sign from the heavens that I needed to buy it. Super simple, but I don’t have a purple dress for spring and there’s something adorable about it.
Now, because I don’t have anything much better to do with my life, I have started, two months ahead of time, to consider what I’m going to wear to the two graduation ceremonies I’m going to this year (neither are mine, I’m just honestly that bored that I need to plan an outfit for something where no one cares if I’m even there). These shoes were something I’d seen a while back and as I remembered them, this whole outfit kind of came together in my head. Bright, bold contrasting colors tied together with gold accents. I was originally thinking of just a plain orange cardigan when I found this gem on Anthropologie’s site. It’s adorable, fits the look well and adds just the right amount of statement. A gold belt over it—I’d probably actually look for something braided, so I could knot it, and also keep with the look of the cardigan/bracelet—and then jewelry. I’d keep it simple, only a couple of pieces. Definitely a cuff, and I loved this woven one for this outfit, and then either some simple matching earrings or a necklace.

This is a really great transitional outfit. Still really casual, just clean and polished. Now just to come up with one more…:)

Okay, I am now in beyond desperate need of help.

I am so distraught right now because I lost the tube of lipstick I was using, Maybelline’s Color Sensational in Summer Sunset. It was the absolute perfect shade for me, it felt great and stayed well and I loved it so much despite it being a drugstore brand. No big deal, right? I can always buy a new one.

NO.

NO I CAN’T.

BECAUSE SOME ASSHOLES DECIDED TO DISCONTINUE THAT COLOR.

And now my life is empty and meaningless.

So I need your help. I got some good responses on my last question about primer. Above you will see a hideously unflattering picture of me that unfortunately is the most accurate example of the color that I have documented. Perhaps some of you have used it before or seen it and already know what it looks like. But for those who don’t, as you can see it’s a red. Pink undertones, not orange. Not particularly dark or bright, just perfectly in the middle. I liked it because it kind of looked natural. Not natural like the normal color of my lips, it was a noticeable difference, but you could easily pass for someone with naturally very red lips wearing it. It made my lips look the way they do after I’ve exfoliated them—totally natural, but intensely flushed from the blood flow.

FIND. THIS. FOR. ME.

I NEED IT.

I HAVE BEEN COLORLESS FOR DAYS.

And before anyone mentions it, I have tried to find it online from places that still might have it in stock. But when I’ve gone to order it, an error will appear, or like when I ordered it from Amazon, a few days later they sent me a notice of cancellation. IT’S GONE. FOREVER.

So I just need a color that will do this job for me. Whatever brand, whatever price, I don’t care. Send me suggestions. Links. Pictures. Anything. I’ll look, and you look, and we will find this shit.

Did you get any feedback from your "HELP!" post?? I own two Urban Decay eyeshadow primer potions - SIN and ORIGINAL. Sin was the first one that I purchased and at first I was a little nervous about it because of how shimmery it was. But if you use a matte color on top of it, it still comes out perfectly matte! The original is great too, it blends in perfectly, makes my eyelids look a little lighter, which I don't mind. You only need a little bit too otherwise it gets a little crazy. Hope I help!

I need help picking a new eye primer. I’ve been using Too Faced Shadow Insurance Candlelight but I’m starting to run out and I need to replace it. I like the product enough, it does get the job done quite well, but the problem is it’s a little oily and doesn’t cover as well as I could ask for. I just don’t think it’s the best I could do. Normally I’d go Laura Mercier for anything primer-related but the thing I really liked about Candlelight was the kind of sparkly sheen it had. There have been more than a few times when I’ve been in a rush and just used the primer by itself as my eyeshadow, and unfortunately (to my knowledge) LM doesn’t have an eye primer that will do the same (correct me if I’m wrong…with a name/link to buy please!).
I’ve looked really hard for another and came across Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion in Sin. I do trust Urban Decay with my eyes, their shadows and liners are beyond. But I didn’t want to buy this product blindly for the brand. And while I normally find ratings and reviews on Sephora helpful, that was less true in this case. And any outside reviews I found weren’t much better.
So, if anyone has tried Sin, or even better, both Sin and Candlelight and can give me an opinion on them please send it to my ask. Or if you know another really good product that would fit what I’m looking for, I’d really appreciate that too. Thanks :)
