I need help picking a new eye primer. I’ve been using Too Faced Shadow Insurance Candlelight but I’m starting to run out and I need to replace it. I like the product enough, it does get the job done quite well, but the problem is it’s a little oily and doesn’t cover as well as I could ask for. I just don’t think it’s the best I could do. Normally I’d go Laura Mercier for anything primer-related but the thing I really liked about Candlelight was the kind of sparkly sheen it had. There have been more than a few times when I’ve been in a rush and just used the primer by itself as my eyeshadow, and unfortunately (to my knowledge) LM doesn’t have an eye primer that will do the same (correct me if I’m wrong…with a name/link to buy please!).
I’ve looked really hard for another and came across Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion in Sin. I do trust Urban Decay with my eyes, their shadows and liners are beyond. But I didn’t want to buy this product blindly for the brand. And while I normally find ratings and reviews on Sephora helpful, that was less true in this case. And any outside reviews I found weren’t much better.
So, if anyone has tried Sin, or even better, both Sin and Candlelight and can give me an opinion on them please send it to my ask. Or if you know another really good product that would fit what I’m looking for, I’d really appreciate that too. Thanks :)
